Description
Steve Rude Shield #2 Variant Cover Painting Original Art (Archie Comics, 2015). Part of Archie Comics' Dark Circle publishing line, this relaunch of the title features a new, female version of The Shield. Steve Rude's action-packed variant cover show why he is called "The Dude"! It is produced in watercolor and opaque watercolor on illustration board with a large 15.5" x 23.75" image area. It is signed and dated in the lower right image area and initialed on the backside. (Note: the backside says it is for issue #1, but it did appear on issue #2 instead.) The "Wanted" and "Showtime" banners are original art paste-up.
