Joe Shuster - Superman Illustration Original Art (c. 1940-50s). Extra! Extra! Read all about one of the best Joe Shuster Superman illustrations we have ever come across! A dynamic image, featuring the Man of Tomorrow in that familiar "leaping tall building in a single bound" pose, while delivering newspapers. It is unknown if this was produced for a promotional purpose or just for the sheer joy of it. Pure graphite on an oversized sheet of thick stock Bristol board, it measures 15" x 22". Signed in the image area. The board has discoloration and light stains at the edges, with an indentation on the reverse side that is visible from the front (in the lower right corner).
