Daniel Clowes Eightball #8 Story Page 14 Original Art (Fantagraphics, 1991). Many collectors consider this era to be an absolute peak for Daniel Clowes, and such great pages are very scarce on the market. All the classic artistic and thematic "Clowesian" elements are in full effect here for Part Seven of this story which originated in 1989 in Eightball magazine, then later in 1993 as a self-contained edition, Like a Velvet Glove. Ink over graphite with shading film on bright white Bristol board with an oversized, matted image area of 10.25" x 17.5", framed with an overall size of 18.75" x 25.5".
