Description

Frank Miller and Joe Rubinstein Wolverine Limited Series #4 Story Page 13 Original Art (Marvel, 1982). Here's one of the key moments of this series, the death of Noburu, the abusive husband whom Mariko's father forced her to marry. Those three blades in the back are courtesy of Wolverine's ally Yukio! We also see the shadowy form of our hero. A dynamic page from the final issue of the miniseries which not only established Wolverine as a fan-favorite character, but showcased the epic team-up of X-Men scribe Chris Claremont and Daredevil artist Frank Miller, complimented by the powerful finishes of Joe Rubinstein, which provided further evidence reinforcing their position as top creators in the industry! Ink and screentone over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15". Slight toning, trimmed corners, discolored tape registration marks in the top/bottom edges, scored cut along the right side edge with marginal notes, whiteout corrections, with light staining and smudging/handling wear. In Very Good condition.
