Description

Batman: Mask of the Phantasm Joker Original Production Cel (Warner Brothers, 1993). "Ah! Wrong! It ain't the Bat. Nope, nope, nope. I've seen the guy. He looks more like The Ghost of Christmas Future." The demented Joker discusses with Arthur Reeves the fact that someone else and not Batman is killing his old gang in this hand-painted cel. Theatrically released over 30 years ago on 12/25/1993, Batman is wrongfully accused of a series of murders that include mob bosses which are being committed by a new villain with a mysterious connection to not only Batman, but also Bruce Wayne. Hollywood Actor Mark Hamill voices the maniacal Joker in an incredibly frightening performance with a dash of tackiness, giving his best portrayal as the Clown Prince of Crime to date. The 3-peg hole cel can be seen approximately at the 53:44 timestamp of the feature film but compared to the movie, here Joker's entire upper torso is on display making this a unique item for any Batman collection. The production cel bears a Warner Brothers seal in the upper left corner and is accompanied by a signed COA. The image of Joker measures at 10.75" x 8" and is displayed over a scene matching, print background for presentation purposes. The overall condition is Very Good to Fine with light handling wear and edge wear.
