Description
Pinky and the Brain Original Production Cel and Animation Drawings Signed by Tom Ruegger (Warner Brothers, c. 1995-1998). "Pinky, are you pondering what I'm pondering? I think so, Brain, but can the Gummi Worms really live in peace with the Marshmallow Chicks?" The constantly dazed and confused Pinky once again misses the mark on what Brain is really thinking in this original hand-painted cel. Presented here is a hand-painted cel with the matching original animation drawing, showcasing the unflattering couple Pinky and Brain who are genetically enhanced laboratory mice that live in Acme Labs. Voice actor Rob Paulson provided his vocal talents for Pinky who is a dopey but good-natured mouse while voice actor Marice LaMarche played Brain, who is a diabolical schemer and a bit of a narcissist, that sounds like a cross between Orsen Welles (1915-1985) and Vincent Price (1911-1993). Only the 12 field production cel is hand-signed by Tom Ruegger, the spectacular songwriter for all the Warner Brothers animated segments for Pinky and the Brain, Animaniacs, and Tiny Toon Adventures. The combined character image measures at 8" x 8" and is displayed over a print background for presentation purposes. There is a Warner Brothers seal in the lower left corner on both the production cel and the animation drawing. The original drawing is rendered in graphite with colored pencil. Accompanied with a COA from the Clampett Studio Collections. The overall condition is Very Good with minor handling and edge wear, light age-related toning.Auction Info
