Description
Peter Pan Wendy Darling Animation Drawing (Walt Disney, 1953). "Did she have silky ears and wear a fur coat?" "Oh, no, Michael. That was Nana." Wendy is done playing 'mother' and kindly reminds her little brother Michael what their mother is like, in this endearing animation drawing of the eldest Darling daughter. From Walt Disney's animated adaptation of Peter Pan, released to theatres on 2/5/1953, which was directed by Hamilton Luske, Clyde Geronimi, and Wilfred Jackson with animation by all of Walt Disney's "Nine Old Men". This captured moment can be seen at about the 58:06 timestamp, before the heartfelt performance of the musical segment "Your Mother And Mine". With performance by the talented Kathryn Beaumont, who also lent the voice of Alice (Alice in Wonderland, 1951) and Aurora (Sleeping Beauty,1959). Wendy measures an image area of approximately 5.75" x 7.5" on the 16 field 3-peghole animation sheet and is notated C45 in the bottom right corner. The production artwork has mild handling and edge wear, slight age-related toning, light textured wrinkling, and a middle peghole support from production.
