Adventure Comics #42 (DC, 1939) CGC VG 4.0 Cream to off-white pages. A very tough book to find in grade, we have only offered eight copies of this book ever and only four of those copies were graded over FN/VF 7.0. The second Sandman cover ever (an early grey tone cover by Creig Flessel) is the reason demand for this Golden Age key is so high. Bob Kane and Wayne Boring art. CGC notes, "Tape on interior spine of cover." Overstreet 2012 VG 4.0 value = $1,568. CGC census 2/13: 2 in 4.0, 7 higher.CGC Grader Notes:
