Description
Bob Montana Jackpot Comics #4 Archie Story Page 2 Original Art (MLJ/Archie, 1941). This is from only the second Archie story ever published. The character was introduced in Pep Comics #22, cover-dated December 1941; that story was quickly followed by this one in Jackpot Comics #4, which was cover-dated Winter 1941. The page features Jughead and Betty, but don't look for Veronica -- she wouldn't be introduced until Pep Comics #26!The art is in ink over graphite on Bristol board, with an approximate image area of 13" x 18.25". There is minor handling wear and some faint soiling; overall, Very Good condition.
