Description

Dale Keown Malibu Sun #19 Cover Original Art (Malibu/Image, 1992). The Malibu Sun was the "new product information and licensing opportunities" magazine produced by Malibu Comics (before they were purchased by Marvel) to promote their own books. In their early days, Image Comics used Malibu as a packager and to supply some of the production work needed to get the books out. Part of the deal included promoting Image comics in their house magazine. This amazing Pitt cover was also used as a post card that was distributed in some other comic news publications. Ink and white paint highlights over graphite on Marvel Bristol board with an edge-to-edge image area of 11" x 17". Signed in the artwork lower right corner. In Excellent condition.
