Dave Stevens Venus Domina Candlemass Eve Special Cover Original Art (Verotik, 1997). This stunning illustration featuring Verotik's soul vampire / dominatrix is one of only six covers the beloved artist created for the erotic horror company started by trailblazing musician and founding member of the Misfits, Glenn Danzig... and the first Heritage has ever offered! Stevens' sultry contributions to the mature comics include some of his greatest art from the 1990s and was an important relationship that allowed the famously meticulous artist the opportunity to display the full range of his widely celebrated talent. Stevens is considered one of the greatest cover artists of the entire era, with his incredible design and skill on full display in this absolute knockout. Ink over graphite and blue pencil on Bristol board with an image area of 11" x 16.25". Slight toning, whiteout touch-ups, and light handling wear. Signed by Stevens in the lower right image area.
