Jim Starlin Marvel Graphic Novel #1 The Death of Captain Marvel Story Page 27 Original Art (Marvel, 1982). This powerful and tragic story featured the Kree Captain Mar-Vell coming to terms and dealing with a terminal cancel diagnosis. This page shows Rick Jones having a hard time accepting the reality of it. Created in ink and marker over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 11.75" x 17.5". Most of the ink used by Starlin has changed hues over the years, appearing a more maroon tone now. Signed by Jim Starlin in the lower right margin. In Very Good condition.
