The original five X-Men (Cyclops, Marvel Girl, Iceman, Angel, and Beast) stand at the ready as a newly superpowered anti-mutant militant does battle with their arch-nemesis, Magneto. Although his name is now synonymous with successful series and crossovers such as Secret Wars and Uncanny X-Force, this vibrant cover from the turn of the century is just the second time Esad Ribic created a cover for Marvel Comics and one of the only times he's rendered this team of X-Men! Created in mixed media on a watercolor board with an image area of 13" x 18.5", the board has corner/edge wear and stray paint in the margins.
