Marvel Mystery Comics #11 (Timely, 1940) CGC VF 8.0 Cream to off-white pages. The Human Torch makes short work of a Nazi tank on this wartime cover by Alex Schomburg. This is a gorgeous copy, and only a half-dozen more are currently graded higher by CGC. Carl Burgos, Bill Everett, and Paul Gustavson are among the interior contributing artists, working on features such as the Human Torch, Sub-Mariner, and the Angel. Overstreet 2018 VF 8.0 value = $3,672. CGC census 11/18: 2 in 8.0, 6 higher.CGC Grader Notes:
