Description
Enric (Enric Torres-Prat) Vampirella Poster Recreation Oil Painting Original Art (undated). Enric, considered by many fans to be among the top Vampirella artists, has recreated his famous 1972 poster image of the Drakulon Darling, standing full-figure, with her hand outstretched, to provide a perch for a vampire bat. Though originally credited to Jose "Pepe" Gonzalez, (Gonzalez did the original pencil prelim of Vampi's standing figure, but never the oil painting), Enric was actually the original painter. Since first painting it over forty years ago, Enric has always wanted to paint this image life-sized and he finally was able to do just that here with over a year's worth of time spent. This life-sized oil on stretched canvas painting measures an approximate 23" x 74.5", and is signed at the lower center by the artist. Its condition is Excellent.
