Skip Williamson Bijou Funnies #4 Snappy Sammy Smoot Complete 6-Page Story Original Art (Print Mint, 1970). In "Sammy Gets Fat," our hero swells in size after accidentally ingesting some intergalactic seed pods, sent from another planet as part of a nefarious scheme to rule Earth... or something like that! It's all pretty silly stuff, with appearances by Ragtime Billy, Richard Nixon, and Spiro Agnew. Skip Williamson's art is like no other, and we mean that in the best way possible; this six-pager is loaded with wild and funny images. The art is in ink with some whiteout over graphite on Bristol board, with an average per-page image size of 12" x 15.75". There's a bit of handling wear and slight toning of the artboards, but the art remains in Excellent condition. From the Eric Sack Collection.
