Description

Dave Cockrum The X-Men #100 Story Page 8 Original Art (Marvel, 1976). This special 100th issue features the first time the original X-Men would go up against the "All-New/All-Different" X-Men, sort of... as the original X-Men turn out to be robots! This page alone features Banshee, Storm, Colossus, and Wolverine crossing paths with (robot versions of) Marvel Girl, Polaris, Beast, and Professor X. Ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15". The board has been signed by legendary artist and co-creator of the All-New X-Men, Dave Cockrum, in the bottom margin. There is a paste-up text correction in Panel 1, and some glue residue in Panel 4 (which is a stripped-in art correction). There are whiteout art corrections on the board. Maybe the biggest secret about this page is likely the hysterical Howard the Duck gag on the reverse side! ...Quackhawk. HA! ...Good one. The page is in Very Good condition.
