Description

Brian Stelfreeze Wizard the Comics Magazine Spider-Man Illustration Original Art (undated). Painted illustration from the comics fandom magazine, as rendered by the Gaijin Studios artist shortly before casting had been decided on what would become Sony's first Spider-Man movie with Sam Raimi. It was presumed at one point that Leonardo DiCaprio would play Peter Parker, and that Nikki Cox would play Mary Jane Watson. Brian Stelfreeze captured the likenesses of both in this spectacular piece, which was used in the Wizard article about the film. Mixed media on board, with an image area of 12" x 17". In Excellent condition. From the Shamus Modern Masterworks Collection.
