Tony Stark and Professor Yinsen finish the armor with no time to spare, prompting Yinsen to sacrifice himself so the suit can charge and Stark can survive. A powerful and consequential page from the beginning of the Marvel Age of Heroes... as "Iron Man is Born!"It is rare that such a key page comes to market -- Iron Man is more than just a founding member of the Avengers and beloved hero in the Marvel Universe... the Armored Avenger has helped shape modern comics and pop culture as the driving force behind the Marvel Cinematic Universe and current Marvel comics! Created twice-up scale in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 12.5" x 18.5". Slight toning, pinholes in the corners, whiteout corrections, with rippling/creasing, light soiling/staining, and handling wear. In Very Good condition.
