Frank King Gasoline Alley Original de la bande quotidienne du 10 juin 1930 (The Chicago Tribune, 1930). Skeezix aime tellement Sally qu'il commence à avoir un cheveu sur la langue. La série immensément populaire de Frank King, d'abord inspirée par la fascination des Américains pour les voitures, a débuté le dimanche 24 novembre 1918 et paraît encore. King fut le premier auteur de comic strips à faire vieillir ses personnages en même temps que la série. Planche au crayon et à l'encre de Chine sur papier bristol avec une surface d'image de 14 x 51 cm. Le papier a légèrement jauni. Excellent état.Frank King Gasoline Alley Daily Comic Strip Original Art dated 6-10-30 (The Chicago Tribune, 1930). Skeezix likes Sally so much, that he's even begun to have her cute lisp. Frank King's hugely popular strip, based around America's fascination with automobiles, began on Sunday, November 24, 1918, and continues to this day. King was the first newspaper cartoonist to allow the characters in his strip to age in real time, as the strip progressed. The ink over graphite on Bristol board episode measures 20" x 5.5", and aside from some slight toning, it is in Excellent condition.
