Batman #3 (DC, 1940) CGC FN+ 6.5 Off-white to white pages. Talk about a tough issue to find in grade! The black-covered first appearance of Catwoman (in costume) fits that bill to a tee. The first appearance of Puppet Master is also inside. The classic cover is by Bob Kane and Jerry Robinson who also handled the interior art chores. Overstreet 2013 FN 6.0 value = $3,225; VF 8.0 value = $8,000. CGC census 2/14: 10 in 6.5, 28 higher.
