Action Comics #35 (DC, 1941) CGC VF+ 8.5 White pages. Wayne Boring, whom many collectors know as the quintessential Superman artist, began drawing the Man of Steel for creators Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster in the very early days of the Superman's appearances in this title, but really came into his own in the late 1940s. From that point through the 1950s, Boring was the primary Superman artist for DC. His cover art is shown off here on one of the nicest copies of issue #35 to have survived the past sixty years. A book that has been selling above Guide lately. Overstreet 2011 VF 8.0 value = $1,613; VF/NM 9.0 value = $2,757.
