Description
Pep Comics #28 (MLJ, 1942) CGC VF 8.0 Off-white to white pages. The Hangman battles Captain Swastika, Adolf Hitler appears in a story, and Archie makes an early appearance. The classic cover is by Irv Novick, and both he and Bob Montana provided interior art. This is the nicest of only four copies we've seen to date, the best of which was a GD/VG 3.0. Overstreet 2014 VF 8.0 value = $2,010. CGC census 11/14: 1 in 8.0, 2 higher.CGC Grader Notes:
