Superman #14 (DC, 1942) CGC FN+ 6.5 White pages. A Heritage / CGC poll listed this book's patriotic eagle-and-shield cover by Fred Ray as one of the top ten of the entire Golden Age. The Superman story was written by his co-creator Jerry Siegel, and the issue also features an interior ad for Sensation Comics #1 and a back cover ad for the Red Ryder 1000-shot Cowboy Carbine Air Rifle made famous by the classic movie A Christmas Story.
