Description
Fantastic Four #48 JSA Authentic Autograph: Jack Kirby (Marvel, 1966) CGC NM 9.4 White pages. This is the first authenticated Kirby signature on a #48 that Heritage has offered to date, and it is great to have said signature on a sterling Near Mint copy! This momentous issue features the first appearances of the Silver Surfer and Galactus, both of whom appear in The Fantastic Four: First Steps movie. The Inhumans and the Watcher also appear. Jack Kirby and Joe Sinnott provide their talents to the cover and interior art. Currently tied for #47 on Overstreet's list of Top 50 Silver Age Comics. CGC notes, "Jack Kirby authenticated autograph on page 1." JSA assigned a grade of "10", which can be seen on the back of the label, for the quality of the signature. Overstreet 2024 NM- 9.2 value = $12,000. CGC census 5/25 for Universal: 133 in 9.4, 148 higher; for CGCxJSA: 1 in 9.4, 1 higher.CGC Grader Notes:
