Red Raven Comics #1 Billy Wright pedigree (Timely, 1940) CGC VF/NM 9.0 Off-white pages. For all those who weren't able to get the 9.0 Mile High copy offered in our last auction (and that's a lot of people, given the stiff price) will get a second chance at a pedigree copy in the same grade here. Only the Denver copy has been graded higher as of this writing.This issue features the first signed work of "the king of the comics," Jack Kirby. That plus a reputation for being hard to find in high grade have propelled this issue onto Overstreet's top 100 Golden Age books list. A unique book that never ceases to fascinate! Overstreet 2011 VF/NM 9.0 value = $16,700; NM- 9.2 value = $24,000. CGC census 2/12: 3 in 9.0, 1 higher.
