Description

Superboy #1 (DC, 1949) CGC VF- 7.5 Off-white to white pages. The adolescent Clark Kent launched his own title with this issue, after appearing in More Fun Comics and Adventure Comics during the preceding five years. Superman makes an appearance on Wayne Boring's cover, as was customary for the first issue of any new DC titles of the time. Story art is by John Sikela. CGC notes, "Minor amount of color touch on cover." Overstreet 2024 VF 8.0 value = $9,700. CGC census 4/25: 11 in 7.5, 24 higher.
