New Fun Comics #2 (DC, 1935) Condition: GD. "Most DC authorities agree that New Fun No. 2 ... is by far the rarest of all DC comics," wrote DC guru Gary Carter some years ago, and everyone's looking for it because it's the second comic book DC ever published! The innovation of New Fun was the use of original material rather than reprints from the Sunday funnies. The series remained one of DC's mainstays, later known as More Fun Comics. Rated an almost unheard of "9" or "very rare" on The Photo-Journal Guide to Comic Books' Scarcity Index. Of the just three unrestored copies that we have ever offered of #2, this is the nicest!
