Modern Love #5 (EC, 1950) CGC NM 9.4 White pages. One of two highest-graded CGC copies of this elusive EC romance comic! Listed as "scarce" by both Overstreet and Gerber, this is an incredible find in Near Mint condition; there are no Gaines File Copies of Modern Love, and CGC lists the next highest-graded copy of this issue far behind at VF+ 8.5 with off-white pages. GPAnalysis lists no public sales above 8.5 of any CGC-certified copies of the issue. Al Feldstein provided story, cover, and art, with art by other EC greats including Wally Wood, Graham Ingels, Harry Harrison, and Rudy Palais. Overstreet 2024 NM- 9.2 value = $1,650.
