Description
Sun Fun Komiks #1 (Sun Publications, 1939) CGC FN/VF 7.0 Off-white to white pages. Only the fourth copy Heritage has ever offered. A satire on comics and possibly the very first Hitler appearance in the medium, with Mussolini and Stalin spoofed as well. It also contains a Gussie the Gob story. This was the only issue of the title. (Note the 15¢ cover price, unusual for a comic book at the time.) Both Overstreet and the Photo-Journal Guide to Comic Books list this comic as "rare". Overstreet 2024 FN 6.0 value = $2,595; VF 8.0 value = $6,315. CGC census 5/25: 1 in 7.0, 5 higher.CGC Grader Notes:
