Description

Amazing Fantasy #15 (Marvel, 1962) CGC VF 8.0 Off-white to white pages. It's the nicest copy we've offered in nearly two years of the Silver Age's most important comic book. What's the big deal? Why, only the origin and first appearance of Spider-Man (Peter Parker), plus the first appearances of Uncle Ben and Aunt May. The Jack Kirby/ Steve Ditko team-up resulted in a legendary cover, but we're stating the obvious. What you may not know is that a mere seven copies have earned a higher grading than NM- 9.2 from CGC to date, putting this copy in select company indeed. Overstreet 2011 VF 8.0 value = $42,000. CGC census 8/11: 11 in 8.0, 23 higher. From the Edward M. Sarley Collection.

CGC Grader Notes:
Back Cover Small Multiple Tear
Spine Stress Lines Breaks Color
Top Back Cover Crease
Top Front Cover Small Multiple Scratch
