Marie Severin (attributed) and Dan Adkins Strange Tales #160 Cover Doctor Strange Original Art (Marvel, 1967). Doctor Strange faces off against Baron Mordo on this over-sized masterpiece! Marie Severin signed in the lower section, so it seems she likely provided the cover design/breakdown for Dan Adkins' finished pencils and inks. Rendered twice-up scale in ink over graphite and blue pencil on Curtiss Way cover stock Bristol board with an image area of 13.75" x 20.5". Signed by both Severin and Adkins in the lower right. The corner box, header, logos, and the top banner are all stat paste-ups (that are coming loose). The lower cover blurb is a hand-lettered paste-up. In Very Good condition.
