Description
Catman Comics #20 (Holyoke/Continental, 1943) CGC FN- 5.5 Cream to off-white pages. We have previously only ever offered one copy that grades above FN- 5.5, and while everyone seems to have this issue on their wantlists, nobody seems to be selling one! That includes Heritage, as we have only offered five copies to date. The fact that this cover not only features Hitler, but it has the madman being severely throttled by Catman, makes this highly collectible indeed. In Comic Book Marketplace, West Stephan noted that of all the Hitler covers, this is the one with the most violent personal attack on the nutsy Nazi. The cover art is by Charles Quinlan and co-stars the Kitten. Overstreet 2017 FN 6.0 value = $2,769. CGC census 8/17: 3 in 5.5, 3 higher.CGC Grader Notes:
