An incredibly realistic depiction of an unreal scene, featuring Tarzan with bow drawn as he comes to the defense of a diminutive but noble Minunian (one of the titular "Ant Men") who has been seized by a towering brute. Legendary painter Boris Vallejo's attention to musculature, posture, and atmosphere helps create a mythic tableau that emphasizes Tarzan's role as a defender of the oppressed, reminding fans exactly why Vallejo became one of the defining visual storytellers of modern fantasy illustration.Rendered in oil on board with an epic 16.25" x 21.5" image area.
