Description
Jack Kirby Avengers #158 Cover Original Art (Marvel, 1977). Wonder Man versus the Vision! It's a story that Jim Shooter had to title "When Avengers Clash!!" We also get a nice Jack Kirby drawn Iron Man, Captain America, and Scarlet Witch on this dynamic cover. The inker is unknown, but both Dan Adkins and John Verpoorten have been suggested. There are some minor whiteout and ink art corrections on the Vision, Wonder Man, and even Iron Man's eyes that were done by John Romita Sr. Rendered in ink over graphite on World Color cover stock Bristol board with an image area of 9.75" x 15". Signed by Kirby in the UPC box. The flash caption is a modern day replacement. The toned board is in Very Good condition.More information about Jack Kirby.
