Description
All Winners Comics #3 (Timely, 1941) CGC VF 8.0 Cream to off-white pages. This high-grade copy nicely showcases Timely's top three, Captain America, the Human Torch, and the Sub-Mariner, plus the skull-adorned Destroyer and one of the earliest appearances of the Whizzer when he was still wearing his none-too-aerodynamic cape! It also contains hanging panels and art by Carl Burgos, Bob Powell, Al Avison, Mike Sekowsky, Al Gabriele, and Bill Everett. To date, only a handful have received higher grades from CGC, and we've seen only one restored and two Universal grade copies with higher grades over the past 22 years. Overstreet 2024 VF 8.0 value = $4,738. CGC census 5/25: 2 in 8.0, 4 higher.CGC Grader Notes:
