Description

Carmine Infantino and Irv Novick Wonder Woman #174 Cover Original Art (DC, 1968). Amazons don't play Powder Puff football... it's full-contact! A hard-charging cover from a Carmine Infantino layout, who passed to Irv Novick for the pencils and inks in the End Zone. Created twice-up scale in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 12.5" x 18.5". This was trimmed and then affixed to a full-size Sparta cover stock Bristol board. The logo is the original stat. The price and issue number are modern replacement stats. The cover blurb is a hand-lettered Bristol board paste-up. It has started to come loose, and the left side has been torn and re-attached. There is a minor stain near Wonder Woman's spike heel, and minor soiling in the image area. In Very Good condition.
