Description
Sal Buscema The Defenders #6 Cover Original Art (Marvel, 1973). The Defenders battle Cyrus Black in this dynamic cover by comics veteran Sal Buscema. Silver Surfer busts through the iconic Sanctum Sanctorum window to aid Doctor Strange, Sub-Mariner, and Valkyrie against the mystical Devil Incarnate. Rendered in ink over graphite on cover stock Bristol board with an image size of 10" x 15". The slightly toned board has header, logo, and title paste-ups, with some adhesive staining, the top left corner is torn, there is a 1" tear on the bottom edge, and two 1/2" tears on the right edge, with light staining, creasing, and handling wear.
