Description
Daniel Clowes Eightball #19 David Boring Cover Original Art (Fantagraphics, 1998). Having just finished off the "Ghost World" story in the previous issue, Clowes introduced readers to the character David Boring. He even shared the cover with Wanda Kraml. Covers from the classic, universally lauded series are virtually all buried in longtime collections and very rarely become available -- this is the first example we've ever offered! Created in ink over graphite on illustration board with an image area of 15.25" x 20.5". There are some paste-up original art corrections on the cover... the "B" in the logo, his eye, a bit of her arm, and the Price/Issue number in the top edge.
