Description

Pinocchio Blue Fairy Animation Drawing (Walt Disney, 1940). "Very well, but this is the last time I help you." The Blue Fairy says after gently scolding Pinocchio, using her wand to help him out of Stromboli's bird cage. This beautiful 12 field 5-peghole animation drawing shows the Blue Fairy in almost full body, smiling as she waves her wand. It is rendered in graphite with color pencil and can be found at roughly 50:01. The fairy was modeled and voiced by Evelyn Venable (1913 - 1993) and was animated using the rotoscope technique. The beautiful drawing is labeled 59 and has a stamp noting that it is from sequence 4.9 and scene 39. It measures about 6'' x 7'' in a 12'' x 10'' mat window. The frame measures 21'' x 19. All frames are sold as-is. Photos are not representative of actual frame condition. Light age-related toning with minor handling wear. Superficial wrinkles, faint smudges, a couple stray marks, and three reinforced pegholes. Good to Very Good condition.
