Description
Gatchaman Fighter Jinpei the Swallow, Camilla, and Zack Production Cel with Key Master Background (Tatsunoko, 1980). After getting injured while trying to capture a Galactor tank, Jinpei the Swallow is rescued by Camilla and her dog Zack. From the third installment of the Gatchaman franchise, Gatchaman Fighter, we have in this lot a stupendous Key Master setup showing Jinpei, Camila and Zak, from the 38th episode, "Bracelet of Friendship." The 12-field production cel shows Junpei laying down in his Swallow suit measuring 5" x 5", with the reindeer herder girl Camilla standing next to him at 4" x 5", with Zack showing a figure size of 3.25" x 3.25". The cel is showcased on its original Key Master background, created in gouache on background board. This Key Master setup is displayed on a 14" x 11" mat with a 9.5" x 7.5" opening. The lot shows considerable fading on the linework, with some lines presenting restoration. Mat is sold as-is. The cel shows some handling and edge wear from production with faint surface scratches that don't affect the art. In Good to Very Good condition.Auction Info
