The Disney Store - Disney Legacy Collection "Disney: The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad - 70th Anniversary" Limited Edition Figurine (Walt Disney, 2019). "If you were asked to choose the most fabulous character in English literature, who would it be?" The Disney Store celebrates "the jolliest chap" to be featured in Walt Disney's The Adventures of Ichabod and Mister Toad with the limited-edition Disney Legacy Collection "Disney: The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad - 70th Anniversary" Figurine! Disney Big Figures debuted in 1989 with a simple release of the "Disney Standard Characters" Mickey, Donald Duck, Pluto and Goofy. However, Disney retail branches expanded the collection to include exclusive and limited-edition figure releases based on popular feature films, issued through The Disney Store, The Disney Catalog, and Disney Parks. Walt Disney's last feature-length motion picture "package" was based on Kenneth Grahame's 1908 novel The Wind in the Willows and is best remembered for its warm and charming cast of characters and original songs including "The Merrily Song". This delightful resin figure captures the charismatic charm of the incurable adventurer and deed holder of Toad Hall, embellished with a delicately applied color palette and pearlescent accents. The collectible was released through The Disney Store and Shop Disney in a limited edition of 500, sold-out and "retired", and has long since been sought after by fans. Measuring 5.5" x 3.5" x 11", this figurine is in Fine condition, and is accompanied by its Certificate of Authenticity, polyform packaging, and the original 6" x 8.5" x 14" product box. The box is in Very Good condition exhibiting minor wear.
