Description

Orphan's Benefit Mickey Mouse Animation Drawing (Walt Disney, 1934). Mickey's hands are tied in this wonderful drawing rendered in graphite on 12 field 2-peghole animation paper. The drawing was made for the 1934 short Orphan's Benefit where Mickey and his friends put on a show for orphans. Mickey briefly takes the spotlight on the piano but plays a little too fast. You can find him trying to untangle his hands at about 7:21. He measures approximately 3.5" x 3.25". It features Mickey with his hands literally tied and a frown on his face as he tries to get them unstuck. He has a jacket on with his usual shorts. The number 40 is written in the bottom right. Light age-related toning with minor edge and handling wear. This amazing vintage animation drawing of Mickey is in Good to Very Good condition.
