The Funky Phantom 6-Character Color Model Cel Featuring the "Looney Duney" Dune Buggy (Hanna-Barbera, 1971). A vintage 12 field-size color model cel from Hanna-Barbera's The Funky Phantom, created for the Looney Duney and showcasing the full principal cast. Hand-painted by the studio's ink-and-paint team, this reference cel standardizes palette and paint callouts so character colors remain consistent across scenes, props, and lighting-an essential tool for production continuity. Featured are Boo the cat (voiced by Don Messick), Jonathan Wellington "Mudsy" Muddlemore (Daws Butler), Augie Anderson (Tommy Cook), Elmo the dog (Jerry Dexter), Skip Gilroy (Micky Dolenz), and April Stewart (Kristina Holland). Debuting on ABC in 1971, The Funky Phantom follows teens Augie, Skip, and April, who accidentally free Mudsy and Boo from a grandfather clock set to midnight. The crew, with their dune buggy the Looney Duney, sets out on mystery capers reminiscent of Scooby-Doo-but the series soon carved its own identity by confronting real crooks (not just masked phantoms) and wrapping episodes with gentle morals.
