Description
Atlantis: The Lost Empire Vinny Santorini and Helga Sinclair Animation Drawing Group of 2 (Walt Disney, 2001). Italian demolition expert Vinny Santorini and Lieutenant Helga Sinclair make star appearances in this lot with two fantastic animation drawings from Disney's 2001 animated film Atlantis: The Lost Empire. Departing from various Disney conventions at the time, this exhilarating film focused mainly on adventure and action, omitting any musical numbers. Its outstanding artistic direction was developed by Matt Codd, Ricardo F. Delgado, James J. Martin, and, notably, Mike Mignola, the famed creator of Hellboy. The deadpan Vinny is shown with a match in his mouth rendered in graphite and red pencil measuring a spectacular figure size of 8.5" x 7" on the 16-field animation sheet, numbered V5 in the bottom right corner. Helga is featured measuring 5" x 5.5" on the 16-field drawing numbered H33 in the bottom right corner, rendered in graphite and red pencil. Both drawings show timing charts in the top right corner and present reinforced pegholes. The top edge of the animation sheets has adhesive residue.
