Æon Flux Production Cel (MTV, c. 1990s). We have in this lot a spectacular hand-painted production cel from the thought-provoking animated series from MTV Æon Flux, showcasing a great image of our protagonist, Aeon, holding a gun and outfitted in her leather suit, seen from a low angle. The show was widely acclaimed for its groundbreaking themes and innovative animation, created by the famed Peter Chung, also known for his work in Reign: The Conqueror, the "Matriculated" segment of The Animatrix, The Chronicles of Riddick: Dark Fury, among many more. Measuring 7" x 5", this image of Aeon is presented on a printed background on the 12-cel numbered A20 in the bottom right corner and showcases an MTV sticker in the top left corner. An MTV COA is included with the lot. The cel presents some wear on the linework and correction paint on Aeon's hair.
