Description

Goofy Animation Drawing (Walt Disney, c. 1940-50s). The fan-favorite bumbling character Goofy is featured in this fabulous animation drawing showing the character ready to develop a camera film. Goofy was first introduced as Dippy Dawg in the 1932 Mickey's Revue, and in the 1934 short Orphan's Benefit, his name was changed to Goofy. The drawing has Goofy measuring 4" x 3.5" rendered in graphite with red colored pencil key lines, featuring an animation timing chart near the bottom right corner. Presented on a 20" x 16" mat with an 11.5" x 7.75" opening, the lot shows light age-related toning and minor handling wear from production. The mat is sold as-is. In Very Good condition.
