Superman: The Animated Series "Warrior Queen" Maxima, Sazu, and Servant Layout Drawing (Warner Brothers, c. 1996-2000). Created for the moments seen at the 4:07 mark of the Superman: The Animated Series episode "Warrior Queen," this is a remarkably rare original layout drawing featuring Maxima, Sazu, and one of Maxima's servants. This humorous episode follows Queen Maxima of the planet Almerac as she tests Superman's worthiness as a mate in hand-to-hand combat. Only appearing in this episode, original production art of these characters is particularly hard to come by. This drawing is rendered in graphite and color pencil on 12 field studio animation paper. It bears an official Warner Brothers seal, and the piece is joined by a Certificate of Authenticity. Minor studio handling and edge wear, and the condition overall is Very Good.Auction Info
