Description
Dudley Do-Right "Mother Whiplash's Log Jam" Storyboard Drawings Group of 3 (Jay Ward, 1960). Dudley Do-Right's origin story is featured in this Season 2 "prequel" episode, which features the only appearance of Dudley's mother. Here's an amazingly rare group of storyboard drawings for this episode. There are thirteen panels drawn in ink on the three sheets. The first sheet is numbered 2 and shows civilian Dudley as he leaves home, slamming the front door hard enough to cause it to fall open; Mother Do-Right is shown in the fifth panel, and panel six has been cut out. This page measures approximately 14" x 8.5". The next piece is trimmed to two panels that must have been in Page 1 as they show the cabin door slamming hard enough to dislodge the name above the door; it measures 8.25" x 4.25". The last page, marked as 11 and featuring Inspector Fenwick, is uncut with six panels, although the last three are marked "Out" with a red pencil "X" in the sixth panel. This page is 14" x 8.5".
