Description
Bullwinkle J. Moose Scene Cel Signed by Jay Ward (Jay Ward, c. 1980s). Bullwinkle is dressed to the nines in top hat, tails, and cane in this splendid hand-inked, hand-painted Scene cel. This cel was originally purchased at the Dudley Do-Right Emporium, which was located at 8200 Sunset Blvd. in Hollywood, just a short distance from the Jay Ward Productions offices, and open from 1971 to 2005. The cels were sold without a signature, but whenever Jay Ward (1920 - 1989) was in the shop, he would sign cels on request. This dapper image of a well-dressed Bullwinkle in his new color scheme of orange and red measures approximately 9.5" tall. The cel is placed in a very clean original Jay Ward Productions mat measuring 10" x 13". The cel is in Very Good to Fine condition with light handling wear.More information about Jay Ward Studios.
